I describe my lifestyle as a home-buddy person. I always stay in the house except on certain occasions where I have to travel for family gatherings or attend to unplanned errands. But whenever possible, I would prefer to stay home and watch my favorite TV shows or movies and be with my family. I also like to cook and barbeque for everyone in the house. And just like a typical Filipino family who prefer to live all together, my family is big. I’m glad my parents invested on a sizable house early on to be able to accommodate our growing family.
I live in a sizable home. It is a two story house with a receiving/living room, a bedroom, a family room, a dining room, a kitchen, a full bathroom, a laundry area, and a car garage on the first floor and several bedrooms, bathrooms, and a computer area in the second floor of the house. When you enter the house through the front door on the right side of the house, you would initially see the receiving/living room with three black-colored couches and a large brown coffee table on your right side, the bedroom with a huge door and the stairs leading to the second floor on your left side, a tiled flooring and light painted walls. Right next to the receiving/living room is the family room that is divided by a built-in low structure where my mother displays her eye-catching, beautifully made figurines on top of that structure. And when you’re in the family room, the built-in low structure that separates the room from the receiving/living room is also the structure that houses the gas-operated fire place on one side and the TV/entertainment center on the other side. Facing the fire place and the TV is a sectional couch. There is a ceiling fan with leaf-shaped blades on the ceiling. Right next to the sectional couch is a large mirror attached to the wall and a side round table that is directly facing the front door, it is the only thing that separates the family room to the dining room.
