The first limitation is Facebook addiction. Facebook is addictive because everyday people spend more than 3.5 billion minutes on Facebook. Every day, youngsters are always checking their Facebook newsfeed for status updates from their friends when they wake up. They will also check their Facebook for any notifications or private messages. They spend too much time on Facebook to chat with their friends and stalk other people’s posts which cause them not to be able to concentrate on their study. Many children and youngsters are also addicted with Facebook games like Farmville etc. Facebook addicts will spend lesser time with their family members which had caused them to become uncommunicative. The side effects of facebook addiction also include headache and can cause them to be extremely tired.
The second limitation of Facebook is privacy problem.
Some Facebook users do not know or fail to make use of privacy settings, this will enable anyone to be able to see their Facebook profile and status updates. This leaves them much more vulnerable to online predators as they will expose their entire life to the world. They share too much private information like email address, name, age, education institutions or workplace to others which could cause problems. Loss of confidential data from their Facebook profiles may happen because Facebook collects information of the user and saved into a database which they sell to advertisers and give freely to government authorities without the user’s knowledge. Even if profile privacy is restricted, it is still very easy for other people to access their profiles. There is always the chance that a predator will find information and use it to cause harm. There are few things more annoying than knowing that your parents, relatives, lecturers or employers are constantly on "Facebook stalking" you, ask about every single piece of information you posted to your profile and also the pictures you were tagged
