What is it?
When it comes to setting up a business there are various factors which must be kept in mind. These factors are essential and need to be considered before one sets up the business, because these might end up being the key factors behind determining whether the business will flourish or not. There are lot of things which needs to be considered one of which happens to be the locations analysis. Now, one might wander what exactly is location analysis? It is just as the name suggests the analytics that function behind selecting a business location. This is a key decision when it comes to setting up a business settlement since it will actually determine how effectively the money is being used in the business. The selection of the location should be ideally done by applying strategic means and this method should be applied in case of both foreign and domestic locations. It has been seen in many studies that have been conducted so far that strategic mistakes while selecting the business location has been one of the major reasons as to why it has failed. Here are some of the essential concepts regarding Location Analysis which will prove to be helpful.

Minisum Facility Location
When one wants to measure the efficiency of a location some strategic calculations need to be carried out and minisum facility location determination is one such strand. This type of location analysis focuses on measuring the effective distance and minimizing this distance from the place where the business is to be set up to a number of sites. This problem is applicable only when a single business facility is to be set up. It is a rather simple form of calculation, with lesser number of complications.
