The report will analyze and focus on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) that Logan suffers from his time served in the Iraq War. It will look at his perspective on the war and the after effects, as well as emphasize his journey through love post war. A fellow marine handed Logan a picture that was left by Drake, on the back written “Keep Safe”. Immediately Logan was sent back home to the states.
PREVIOUS HISTORY
Prior to Logan’s time in the war, Mr. Thibault was described as a very jolly, outgoing, and laid back type of person.
He was born in Colorado, brought up in the small town of Hamptonville, NC. He described his childhood as one he could “never forget, if only [he] could go back. He would never take anything personal; everything was a joke to him.
Following Mr. Thibault’s family record there are no significant factors that would contribute to his change in behavior and reactions. He had minor injuries as a child due to athletics, but no major signs that would prove this incident to be worse.
OUTSIDE OBSERVATIONS
Mr. Thibault was observed outside of the clinic at his current place of residence, his sister’s house. Throughout the day I kept my distance from Logan, noting occasional changes in behavior or mood. He was very active and happy during the day but as the night drew closer his emotions and attitude changed as well. At 7:04 pm his sister, Lindsay, was preparing dinner when she accidently dropped a pot. Immediately Logan covered his head and ran for cover under the nearby dining table in the kitchen. At 10:34 pm Logan’s nephew playfully tackled Logan, where Logan responded with putting his nephew in a severe headlock where I had to interfere and set him

He is a respected member of the X-Men team, whose goal is to establish a peaceful unity between mutants and non-mutant people. Inversely, the rival faction is known as the Brotherhood of Mutants, whose ultimate goal is mutant supremacy. Tim O’Brien’s semi-autobiographical novel, The Things They Carried, illustrates the trauma and horrors veterans face during war, especially during the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War ushered in a new era of soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, but unlike the veterans of wars before, there has been more research to help those suffering from the mental disability. O’Brien, like many veterans, uses writing as a medium to help ease the pain of the trauma he has suffered through the war.…
