Ruler Mountbatten had been selected as the last emissary of India who was to supplant Lord Wavell. Ruler Mountbatten touched base in India on 22 March 1947. He came accused of the mission to make a tranquil exchange of force from British to Indians by June 1948.
Master Mountbatten was advised by Prime Minister Attlee to hand over the ability to the Indians by first June 1948. The Prime Minister in a letter guided the emissary to do his most extreme to keep the solidarity of India.
Upon his landing in India, Lord Mountbatten needed to confront numerous issues with respect
