Los Cochios Cochinos Analysis
It's a bittersweet feeling leaving a country that for the past week has welcomed me with open arms. The people, food, culture, and beautiful sceneries (to name a few things) have all been amazing! I never imagined how beautiful this country is. In one short week I was able to explore La Ceiba, visit Los Cayos Cochinos, Eat baleadas y chícharo con yuca, sing and dance along con La Guanajeña, participate in a political caravan, and many more fun experiences! I will miss Honduras.

Gracias a todos los que me dieron una bonita experiencia en Honduras! Y gracias a usted, Martha, por qué dejó que este chicle se le pegara ❤️

Diego Rivera’s artwork Puesta de sol 15 (Sunset 15) created in 1959 is a two dimensional painting created by using oil and tempera on cardboard, and is a prime piece that exemplifies my theme of nature through the seasons. This entire art project itself works together as a whole to create my theme, and Sunset 15 works to exemplify nature during the summer season. Sunsets are something typical of the summer season, and while Rivera’s take on a sunset is interesting, and uniquely different, we still get the point of how nature is envisioned during the summer months with the hot summer sun and its intense rays of light. The water is also an aspect of nature of and of summer time that exemplify the theme trying to be conveyed with this artwork.…

All throughout Their Eyes were Watching God, the main character, Janie, seems to swoon over her third husband Tea Cake. She’s obsessed with the fact that he makes her feel worthy or even smart unlike her other husbands, Joe and Logan. He actually takes the time to teach her how to play checkers, something she was never allowed to do. Vergible “Tea Cake” Woods also makes Janie young and spontaneous. Their adventure filled relationship make her glow inside. To the sudden night fishing trip, to romantic picnics, even to dancing until her feet hurt at Jacksonville clubs. They way he cuddled up to her scratching her head and petting her hair make her feel beautiful and loved deeply. All these factors may all make Tea Cake seem like a “good” man, but Janie really fails to narrate or even look into his cons, which happen to big ones overcasting his pleasant traits. He’s stolen her money without her permission, caught practically cheating on Janie with another…

Dictionary.com describes compassion as a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering (2012). Bush describes compassion fatigue as a complex emotion that allows caregivers to hold and sustain themselves in emotional balance while holding patients’ despair in one hand and their hopefulness in the other (2009). People believe that God is standing there ready to punish us for our wrongdoings but in actuality God is not standing over us ready to punish us when we do wrong a lot of people think and believe and even say if you do this God will punish you like they say in Spanish, Diosito te va castigar, also saying this because of our suffering does it mean that God is punishing us many times we do our own suffering because of our own Disobedience to God. There are blessing for obedience and there's curse for Disobedience a lot of suffering that we go through is because of our own doing not of God's doing so we have to acknowledge that our sufferings come through times in our lives that we have done something or have said something 2 suffer and that is…
