his entire life and that he would drop anything to assist his boss, even today. This superior listened, he pushed James to be the best and appreciated his contributions. When you lead by example and collaborate with your staff towards common goals, you get consistency in your results and it creates harmony and respect within your team. This respect is the foundation in for successful business relationships.
In chapter three, the section that stuck out the most to me was “Beware The 10 Percent.” In this section James talks about how one should not get caught up in the 10 percent that thinks negatively and if you have someone like that in your organization, work swiftly to get them out. This type of attitude is infectious and tough love must be applied here. Most companies are not exercising this and we must remember not to become skeptical due to these types of employees. Continue to get your staff what they need and in return, they will do the same for you. Who doesn’t want to look great?
