Living in Goodness and Love
When people asks me to define myself, I simply tell them, I am created by God’s image and likeness therefore I am a loving person to any of those people who I’ve known and who I didn’t know. When a person or group of people will judge you based on your personality, physical appearance, and many more, they don’t have the right to judge you because we are all created unique from each other. No one can define you even your friends, family, girlfriends and boyfriends. Only you yourself can define who you truly are. We are all humans or tao, who can feel, think and act. There is a deepest part of our pagkatao, it’s our loob. Where our true identity can be found and lies. To know ourselves is very important because to know ourselves helps us to value our identity and our giftedness. It helps us develop our capacity as human beings and nurture our belief in our capacities. It builds up our self-esteem or as what we call confidence. Even me, I don’t have confidence at all but as I get to know myself everyday, I develop them in a little way like sharing to the class, they can boast up your confidence. When you help them and share with them your learning from that specific thing tor lesson. How did I bear witness to pagpapakatao these past days? I bear witness pagpapakatao by participating in the CES activities. When I transferred here in CIC, I got a lot or engaged myself of many activities which involved helping our poor brothers and sisters. Like feeding, community based tutorial, dump site exposure and jail visitation. In feeding, it’s so nice that I got to help many young children who lack meal everyday. Its so heart warming that in that simple way, you’ve touched so many lives. Also for community based tutorial, there is also lot of children especially the young ones, who are not able to attend school due to financial problem. Just by teaching them how to write, read, and solve math problems is a huge and big
