An example would be when the Nurse was helping out Juliet to escape with Romeo, “Hie you to church. I must another way/To fetch a ladder, by the which your love/Must climb a bird’s nest soon when it is dark”(2.5.65-68). This shows that she’s helping Juliet with escaping, instead she could be stopping her from running away and tell her parents. She’s loyal to Juliet since she has not told her parents or anyone else. Another example is when the nurse said “Hie to your chamber. I’ll find Romeo/To comfort you. I wot well where he is/Hark ye, your Romeo will be here at night”(3.2.139-141). This shows that she’s still with Juliet and Romeo, even though] Romeo killed Tybalt whom the Nurse was really close to. At this point the Nurse could have not helped Juliet with Romeo since he has killed her own family member, but she stays loyal towards Juliet. she’s still helping her. In the end, helping Juliet made the situation worse pushing her toward Romeo and her death. In conclusion Shakespeare wants to show us that we should be careful on who we be loyal to. Since Romeo and Juliet decided to be loyal to each other they end up dead. The Nurse was also loyal to Juliet, but pushed her toward the wrong path. In the end we should be careful on who we should be loyal to, because they could lead to the wrong direction. Loyalty is really powerful
