Luddites are a group of textile workers who breaks into the factories and destroys the machinery because they believe that these are replacing them and not allowing them to work and earn money to provide for themselves or for their family. This movement is called Luddism, lead by Ned Ludd. Since the new machinery only required a cheap and unskilled worker to manage the new technologies, these skilled became increasingly worried that they will soon be replaced. This movement is in opposition to the classical liberalism, they were against the industrialization and the advancement of the technologies. They rebelled against the government and as a response, the government declared machine breaking as a capital offence which was punishable by death Although it is a true that they were successful in breaking into many factories they were not successful enough to end the industrialization as the world begun to gradually get more industrialize. This source can be related to Laissez Faire capitalism which major concern is the efficiency of the factories and the accumulation of wealth this was considered by many, especially the wealthy elites as the most important goal and the equality of workers were not their primary concerns. It can be observed that there is large percentage gap of salary between man and woman in many countries, and the graph also shows the different personal responses each country has concerning classical liberalism. A fight for the women’s rights is one of the ways women responded, for instance, the universal suffrage, women in many countries had to fight to have the right to vote and to have a voice in the government regarding the rules and laws. They had to fight for their political freedom. One can see that they are in favour of the ideologies of the classical liberalism. Not only about political freedom but also in favour of the economic freedom.As one can observe in the graph, the fact that there is no equal pay of equal value between man and women it seems evident that for the society to achieve that equality between both gender is still far away in the future. In fact, it seems that this gap that is preventing the balance between both sexes is actually increasing according to the statistics recorded. New Zealand has the lowest percentage of a gap with 6 percentage of difference compared to all the country presented in the graph. It can be said that the country is favouring classical liberalism. However, in Korea where the gap is the highest it can be assumed that there are many people who do not believe that women deserve same and equal amount of salary as men,
