Almost everyone had faced with performances in front of the audience. They took place in sandbox, school, at the university, during family meetings and finally at work. Thus, since childhood we have had many opportunities to practice our performance skills.
There are people who were born to be speakers and others, who need to put more attention on preparation, because the audience in any case can judge our behavior and performance. That is why, people who want to have a good presentation need to prepare them properly, so they can become more self confident and thus have a weapon to overcome stress. Proper preparation means having an idea of presentation structure, and therefore making the presentation much more effective, coherent or persuasive. Additionally, these features contribute to putting forward in much more easier way. It is really useful to have developed skills in aforementioned areas, because they are increasing confidence and at the same time are reducing anxiety caused by the situations in which people may be called upon to speak in public, so they give the ability to control nerves.
For me the most difficult presentation I have ever prepared took place around 7 years ago during my study at the University of Science and Technology in Kraków on Management and Production Engineering Department. This presentation was organized by the first and the oldest department at the University. This department each year organized the scientific sessions for students that want to present important issue from the market. As every year I took part as one of the participants.
