Imagine finally becoming a parent, the happiness of holding that perfect child in your own hands and looking into their eyes; seeing all the achievements and future dreams in that one tiny gift you have created. Now imagine those same eyes and hearing a doctor tell you that your child has cancer. At that moment, how many of your dreams would come crashing down for you as a parent and your child? Those precious few moments of remaining life for a child with something as bad as cancer, is why the Make-A-Wish foundation was created. It has become an international organization granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. Even though many children around the world aren’t able to live the same childhood as others because of their life threatening health conditions, the Make-A-Wish Foundation helps bring joy and hope to the kids in this situation. Make-A-Wish has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.

Some of these conditions limit children from doing things ordinary children get to experience. Children with life threatening medical conditions are unsure of how much time they have left to live. Thankfully, charity organizations exist that help children benefit in these situations. Make-A-Wish allows these children to wish for something that the organization would grant. This charity puts a smile on children’s faces despite what they are going through, which is why I believe Make-A-Wish is the best charity because it benefits these
