There are many different qualifications for you to be able to receive a wish. To be able to receive a wish you have to be at least 2 ½, but under the age of 18. You have to be specifically referred to the Foundation, but you can’t be referred to the Foundation unless you have been determined to be medically able to get a wish by your physician. The “Make-A-Wish Foundation” runs solely on donations, considering it’s a non profit organization.The first donation to ever be given to this foundation was from a grocery store manager. He gave them $15. The “Make-A-Wish Foundation” never has any commercials or telemarketers for this Foundation. The “Make-A-Wish Foundation” actually has a policy against door-to-door solicitation, and using the telephone to try and get donations.
