Case Summary:
This case describes a manager Clendenin’s use of the Multinational Development Center to enhance the efficiency of Xerox’s worldwide logistics and inventory management. He has done this though the development and implementation of a wide range of improvements in multinational computer and management systems.

To answer the above question, I would like to high light what kind of person Clendenin is. In summary, Clendenin is Diligent, have passionate and aggressive smart person, and have great persuade influent skills.
He have a clear goal before start up actions, like start his career after graduate, start his innovation plan in the MDC department, the clear goals lead him to achieve his success in Xerox’s, especially in cutting MDC budget and headcount substantially case.
In terms of cultural alignment, John’s past experience and current success at Xerox would suggest that there is a high level of alignment between John’s working style and the culture at Xerox. In reciting his rejection of more lucrative offers in other industries, John states that he felt very comfortable. The corporate culture of Xerox is in many ways the same as the Marine Corps.
