Nicolette Larson is the tournament director of the Manchester United Soccer Club, MUSC, and she is responsible for organizing the clubs first summer tournament. Nicolette needs to define her project scope, which is the end result or mission of your service-a service for your customer, pg. 102. When Nicolette had the committee meeting, she came unprepared with no agenda. The project manager is responsible for seeing that there is agreement with the owner on project objectives, deliverables at each stage of the project, pg. 102.This resulted in an inefficient meeting that had committee members complaining about the service rather than trying to improve it. Nicolette’s husband, Kevin, suggested that the first thing they needed to do was to develop a WBS.
