comfortable. The kids may be hot during the classes and cold during others since they are not wearing their normal clothing and able to just take off or put on a jacket. Which means there would be less focus in classes and not enough work being done which means everyone in the school would learn slower, and may not get as good of grades. The school would not be so great with the dress code enforced and the kids that liked going to school every morning would no longer like going to school. They wouldn't have as good of programs like band, orchestra, theater, or any other extra activities kids like to do all because the dress code was enforced.
In some areas kids can’t wear the dress code because they can’t afford to wear it, so in some places if the dress code was enforced then you could have 50% of the kids not able to come to school because they can’t buy the uniform like it states at www.royalgazzette.com.
If most of the kids aren’t coming to school they are missing out on their education, which means they can’t advance to the next grade so the community will start to have more uneducated kids unless the parents of the kids can afford homeschooling. If half the kids weren’t coming to school then there may be less kids for the sports team or UIL, it would be harder for the school to compete in events. On www.frisco.org. Some of the things it states about the dress code and why it’s enforced is the bullying problems. The school won’t be recognized as much and won't be funded as well just because of the school uniform being …show more content…
enforced.
Furthermore enforcing the dress code at a school may go against somebody's religion or something someone wears almost everyday so that they are comfortable while learning.
Which would also decrease the want or need to learn in a classroom which would also result in lower test grades and worse academic scores. If there is a dress code enforced then the people with certain religions will not be able to come to the school because there may be something they have to wear when in public or around other people. Which would lower the amount of people coming to school even more than just the people that can’t afford the uniform which in some places may be less than half of the students. So basically enforcing the dress code in some areas may completely ruin the schools funds, or ability to teach students which means it will not be as great of a school to have to go to, because the kids will not be getting as good of and education as they need to
get. All in all Enforcing the dress code anywhere would have a huge negative effect on a school because the dress code would go against 3 things students should have, the freedom to wear and look how they want when they walk into school; the ability to go to school no matter what religion they are, and the ability to go to school and learn what they need to if they are not a very wealthy family as it also states here http://everydayfeminism.com/2014/12/school-dress-code-myths/. Students going to school should also be able to have the right to be comfortable when in school so they have a better learning environment and feel better about going to school.
