One of the stories representing the role of guilt in the family relationships is the guilt of Alma resulting from the accident that made Maribel special. The guilt is a strong emotion that might never disappear, especially if it concerns family relationship. For the most part, guilt in a family comes as a result of the events that we should have been able to take under control but did not manage to do so.
