Mark Harmon: Who's To Blame?
The second person I want to write about is actor Mark Harmon. He has been an actor for his entire career, but is most known for his role of Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. In college, he was a football star, and went on to acting. He starred in the longest standing number one rated television series program, NCIS. No other television program has ever held that rating before or since.
There are some real reasons why NCIS holds that title. When Mark Harmon was interviewed, and asked why he believes that to be the case, he replied, “We have a great staff and we all genuinely love each other and we love working together.”
The show, though they investigate crimes, is not focused on crime. The focus is more on the relationships of the people

The show thrived under Harmon’s management. Eventually there was a law suit between Bellisario and the NCIS management team over the spin off NICS Las Angeles. But the cast of NCIS, depended on Mark Harmon’s leadership. The cast all loved each other like a real family and loved working together. That love and respect is evident as they act their parts in the episodes.
Mark Harmons father was a famous football legend, Tom Harmon. His mother was actress Elyse Knox. For a while, Mark was a football quarterback. He married actress Pam Dawber and they have been married for 31 years with 2 boys. After they married, Pam left the acting scene so she could focus on being a full-time mom and the couple refused to let the cameras near their sons. They wanted their sons to grow up as other children do without the spotlight.
Though they kept their children out of the camera’s eye, Harmon’s son plays in the role of the younger Gibbs in a few of the episodes. Other than that, Harmon and Dawber keep their children out of the public eye so they could live a normal life. The integrity that Harmon brings to NCIS and to Hollywood itself, is rare and impressive. This show is my favorite show. I watch it with my mom in the evenings at the end of the day. There is no other show in tv that draws a person in like NCIS, there will never be another like

There are many different types of murder shows. I have two that are my favorite shows to watch. Both are reality shows, because I lose interest quickly when it is not about things that are really happening. As you know the news never tells you everything about what happens. First 48 is the name of the first one. It focuses on the present murders and the detectives that work the crime scene. It is set in the first forty-eight hours after the crime has been committed. The second show, Cold Case Files is a show that focuses on old murder case, that have went on for years without being solved. They both deal in murders though differently. Both shows have the detectives, and they both give details the news would not release.…

The shows begin by noting the extent of crime within the society, which bases the line of thinking that all crime is within the jurisdiction of the law enforcement agencies. Their efficiency is solving these issues works to promote the mutual existence of communities that suffer from crime and other instigators of torment. The show depicts Dan Mathews as a dedicated officer, who is rarely off-duty, implying the sacrifice that law enforcement officers make in pursuit of a crimeless society. He is also seen to spend Christmas Eve, which is a holiday, searching for a lost six-year-old girl. The theme of insecurity is great evidence about the turn of events in America due to the rising economy of America that made people want to protect their possessions at all costs. This fear is what led to the popularity of the show, exuding confidence with the states apparatus in the endeavors to deal with unscrupulous sections of the public. Through various prison breaks, the show attempts to explain that even cunning criminals and convicts cannot defeat the state machinery since one weakness in the system may allow these individuals access back to the…

The famous person that I chose to write about is Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford started off as a cabinetmaker. He did this job for fifteen years, just to make sure that he was able to pay his bills and put food on the table every day. Harrison Ford worked as a stagehand for The Doors, he built sound studios for Sergio Mendes, and he made cabinets for George Lucas. At the time George Lucas was not a well-known producer like he is now and he was producing the film American Graffiti. He offered Harrison Ford a small role in the film to make a little extra money and Harrison said yes. Later, as George Lucas become more famous, he asked Harrison Ford to do construction work for a bigger office. One day while doing construction, Harrison Ford was asked by George Lucas to read lines for the actors who were absent. The film just happened to be Star Wars. The off-the-cuff performance impressed Stephen Spielberg and he offered the lead role to Harrison Ford. The movie Star Wars ended up being the highest-grossing movie in history. Because of this movie Harrison Ford began a long career in Hollywood.…

While the series was entertaining the portrayal of the law in American life was inaccurate. The Gallagher family broke many laws got brief interventions and then continued to break the law. If this was a reality television show the law enforcement would be widely present and the consequences to the law when it would be broken would be widely present. Since this series main goal was entertainment the focus of the series was not law in American life. The only lesson that could be extracted from this series is that the law is always present, whether we follow it is up to us and as Americans we have to deal with the…

Crime in America is increasing rapidly and many techniques have been created over the years in order to solve major crimes. Forensics science is one of the many techniques that have been created. Forensics is the use of science and technology to investigate and establish facts in criminal courts of law (free-dictionary, n.d). But there is an upcoming issue which involves the exaggerated details of forensics science. This paper explores the CSI Effect, compares and contrasts criminalistics which involves the nature of the crime and criminology which is the study of the criminal behavior, explores how criminalistics and criminology is fictionally portrayed in the media and how the CSI Effect influences the public and impacts actual criminal justice.…

First there’s Kathy Bates of American Horror Story. She has been nominated for over 100 awards in her lifetime and has won 29 of them. Not only is she an actor and director but she is also a spokesperson for lymphedema. Just this september she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We also have heavy hitters such as Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, Nancy Grace of Nancy Grace, Karen Hughes who served as the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs under the George W. Bush Administration and professional golfer Sandra Palmer. Probably the most aw-ing of these is Ainsley Earhardt, anchor and correspondent for Fox News. She was a Beta Epsilon which means she was an ADPi at the University of South Carolina. And of course there is Caroline Boyer, wife of country singer Luke Bryan and envy of every…
