When the magazines are developed, reading magazines become more and more popular in people’s daily lives. Therefore, a host of different kind of category magazines is created, such as catering, fashion and auto industry, which provide a good source for people to obtain knowledge and enrich their experience.
Initially, one of the most popular magazines is called “play boy” which is mainly decision for males in modern world. The “play boy” is found in December, 1953; at the beginning, the cover of the magazine looks very cute because the “rabbit sir” leaves a lovely impression for readers. After 1950s, the cover’s theme is replaced by some beautiful women. In order to grasp a host of audiences, “play boy” add a special erogenous content in their magazines to get the maximize benefit.
Furthermore, “Vogue”, include fashion, art, decoration and health, is an old-line world magazine for a majority of females. “Vogue” magazine is established at 1892 in America, which is regarded as the leader in magazine industry. Except the “Vogue”, there are some branches magazines like “GQ”, “traveler” and “The New York”.
Compared with the two different magazines, except the genders’ differences, the “play boy” is main focus on providing “sexy content”; there is a clear title guide line to help reader find what they want to read on the top of official website. For example, readers can find videos, gallery, girls and articles from the website. Each category provides a host of recent news, and all the readers’ comments are available. However, the official of “vogue” focuses on the fashion trends. People can find out most of the recent fashion information as they want, such as parties and fashion shows.
There is another difference between those two magazines it the culture and geography elements. “Play boy” magazine should evaluate the content based on the local customs, which is a necessary step to evaluate the product value. The “Vogue”
