Reflective writing is an intricate process of inscription, what one learned from particular area and how it is useful in future. In my reflection I will try to construct an assertive image of what exactly happened during my marketing module, like what went correct and what went incorrect and how it could be useful.

Then I got myself introduced to marketing with one of the most renowned definition of marketing given by Philip Kotler “Marketing is the set of human activities directed at facilitating and consummating exchanges." (Philip Kotler 2009). Being new in marketing subject, I started with some bookish knowledge about marketing which included various topics like building clients, shaping market, developing marketing tactics, etc. (Philip Kotler 2009) Though I learnt a lot from bachelors, there were many stones which were still unturned. (Dictionary 2002)
After starting marketing module I came to know about the difference between bachelor level and “M level” (Masters) marketing. Initially looking at areas to be covered under marketing module, one couldn’t have asked for anything better as most of the key parts of marketing have been covered. From 1st lecture main thing that attracted me towards marketing was practical way of explanation of topics from our tutors. Mostly what happens like, topics are explained using theoretical tools but here seminar were arranged every week with very interesting topics like segmentation, advertising, etc. and detailed analysis of marketing strategies of various well-known companies like Wal-Mart and McDonalds.
From my personal interest point of view areas like consumer and supplier behavior and brands are favorites. These are the basic areas where I wanted to explore more. I learnt about psychology of consumer of buying
