Everyone, except for me, started to stretch and mingle about the room. Some people went to the refreshment stand or to the washroom during the intermission. Conversations started to ignite as well as ringing phones made the place feel more alive. Someone in the seat right next to me finally decided to get up from their chair, but it was only my mother and she just glanced down at me.

A girl, presumed as Piper, walk onto the stage in a long blue dress with her heels clicking against the platform until she was in the middle of the stage. She had her instrument by the neck and the bow in her opposite hand.
When she got into playing the position, even the shuffling of feet had come to a halt, and only the droning of the speakers could only be heard. Piper inhaled deeply before she started to pour her heart out onto the strings. The music was swift and lyrical with intervals of exciting notes perused throughout the piece. It was a perfect contrast to the shows western love theme. The hairs on my arm stood on end, and the music filled the air with an electric current that could be sensed. A shiver of pure delight ran down my spine.
At that very moment, I knew my mother was right, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I craved to play as spectacular as her, in that moment I wanted to be her. It all clicked together why I had to endure this horrendous play, to finally see something magnificent. In other words, Pipers playing made up for the lousiness I witnessed that day, and it made all the better to listen
