Martin Luther King: Is It Good To Dream?
Is it Good to Dream?
“Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss you will still land among the stars!”-Les Brown. This quote is very true in almost every dream. The dreaming unit was about listening to different stories of dreams and different outcomes. We saw winners and we saw losers. We looked at people’s dreams in different perspectives. I believe that it is worth it to dream because dreams guide us in life and tell us where to go and what to do, dreams are worth it, and dreams would make me a better a person overall.
Also dreaming is crucial in life. If I don’t have a dream how will I know what I’m going to do in the future. Like in Star Wars: A New Hope when Luke says, “I can’t believe it,” Yoda: “That is why you fail.”Luke just needs to believe

Dreaming makes me think of the steps I have to do to make it to my dream so I work my hardest to complete each step. Now look at what Martin Luther King Jr. did to achieve his dream. M.L.K. had steps for his dream like protesting and not using the bus as transportation for a year. He worked hard to complete those steps and even though he wasn’t there to get his dream, he effected a lot of people in a good way and maybe even completed other people's dreams. Dreams make me think more about my dreams and my life and the steps I have to take to get to my dream. Dreams make me work harder.

Also dreams are great to have in life and set a goal for me in the future. When I dream it would be great to get my dream but what would happen if I didn’t get to my dream? Use the quote that Les Brown said to us, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you will still land among the stars.”-Les Brown. If I try my hardest to get to my dream I may or may not get to my dream but if I do try my hardest I will get to my dream or do even better than I thought . Dreams make me try my hardest to achieve my dream.

Everyone needs a dream to get to where they want to be when they grow up and be successful in life. So what if they say dreams can’t come true or my dream is just too hard to achieve. Don’t listen to the other people who don’t even know what they want to be when they grow up so make a dream early in life and be successful
