Mary Fisher did a good job and makes me want to help those with AIDS. She uses facts and appeals to the emotional side of listeners. By making her speech very public and open, she makes sure that AIDS is not ignored and is known by all. On the other hand, Fisher sounds very monotone while giving the speech. While she is a professional, a little passion would
help persuade others. Her lack of passion makes it easy to not be persuaded. But, since she has such a good point she still persuades many people. She talks about how many people it affects and how everyone is at risk. Many points that she brings up are valid which makes this a good persuasive speech. Overall, Mary Fisher does a good job persuading people to listen in about AIDS and to think about helping those who already have it.
