1.1 Background of the Study

Work is done faster and more accurate with the help of modern technology, automated machines and computer software are making difficult task much easier and done faster. Cutting down a typical business or task process to shorten time and save labor cost. Documentation and human error in selecting decision responses are also prone. The research would like to propose an automated transaction and customer profiling software system that will handle what used to be done manually cut down time and avoid human errors by standardize decision selection. Computerize customer’s profile and services for record. The Transaction and Customer Profiling Software System that this proposed is composed of different capabilities for it to achieve the company’s vision of growth. First, the system will compile customer profile and client’s details and service history to enhance its customer response time and will document customer special needs and instructions. Second, it will compute customer service transaction, estimated bill and estimated time of delivery or pickup. Third, it will also check each service task status to properly record each customer’s service and inform them if need and will also help the business in monitoring work load and status.

Mats Laundry Zone is a company that houses all laundry services in Jesus Dela Pena, Marikina City and in Project 4, Quezon City. It is a commercial establishment for laundering clothes or linens. It’s a self-proprietor business by Mateo, John Carlo, established on May 2008. The Laundry service mark used for a commercial establishment equipped with washing machines and dryers using Raw materials such as detergent powder, stain solution, fabric softener, dry cleaning solution, fabric perfume, laundry plastics and hangers. It is in the company’s goal to expand its catered business service to a wider client and bulk laundry services.
