I feel as if it would have been easier if I had written this in a traditional text format. The reasoning behind this is because there are so many details my father gave me. My father explains it as if it happened yesterday, plus, there are many aspects to his story. Both offer different perspectives of significantly different experiences. My graphic story is about my father, Antonio Jaimes Hernandez, a man who has helped me throughout my whole life. My main purpose to write about him was that I wanted to learn what made my dad who he is today, and how he got to where he is now. This project made me realize that there are many more outlets than just traditional text format and has also helped me learn the many aspects of a graphic novel. If done correctly, a graphic novel format will be more dynamic, powerful, and visually pleasing than traditional text
