Background
What started as a small partnership between W.W. Mayo, his sons and many other physicians, quickly became a full scale hospital in 1919; now known as Mayo Clinic. Mayo clinic is run as a non-profit medical center in Minnesota with branches in Arizona, Florida and the Midwest. After operating expenses have been deducted all proceeds go into patient care, research and education. It is not only known for its highly effective treatments and donations but also for being most accredited by top quality standard listings. Despite its humble origins, Mayo clinic now boasts over 3,700 physicians, and a over 56,000 workforce.
Problem definition and research objective.
Mayo Clinic wants to ensure it maintains its reputable image and continues to practice medicine fairly. In order to do so, Mayo clinic should make sure they look into patients needs and carry out research to find out what these are and the best way to fulfill them. They should aim to always be prepared as being a health care centre, every patient is analyzing them. As of now this is the biggest factor as the only advertising they use is word of mouth. the objective of this research is to find out current and predict future needs of patients, as well as how strengthen its brand image and equity.
