Abstract
Email address providers were examined in a survey which compared AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo! These emails were analyzed on ten different dimensions based on the five, Big 5 personality dimensions, Tech Savvy, work performance, professional appearance, attendance/punctuality and overall performance effectiveness. This paper will address that we do not agree that the email provider a person chooses reveals much about the person or their personality; while their actual username may.

When a person is choosing an email provider the choice does not have a correlation with their personality, while their username may. When choosing an email provider convenience, reliance, simplicity and accessibility plays a vast role in their decision.

Prior to the year 2000 there was only one or two options; we now have many options to choose from. In this case we are focusing on four, those being AOL, Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. We can see how all of these points are factual. In determining the companies which first used email it can be more confusing than one might think. Email itself has unstructured beginnings. What we know today as a file system is where email evolved from. Depending on how one defines email, the earlier providers could go back as far as 1965. The first email providers were MAILBOX and Eudora. MAILBOX was first used by Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1965, while Eudora had its beginning in the early 1980’s.     IntroductionThis study examined qualitative research on "Pregnancy and protection: Perceptions, attitudes and experiences of Australian female adolescents" to determine designs and methods used and to discover emergent themes across study.
