McDonalds Webpage has a lot of information about the company including, quick facts, their mission and values, history about McDonalds, supply chain information, financial information, etc. McDonalds has more than 34,000 restaurants worldwide, with 1.8 million employees, in 119 countries.
I plan on using the information found on their web page for sharing a little about McDonalds history (B4), and general information about McDonalds like their values, and market size, and their position in the industry (B6.a).

Then talks a little about how McDonalds minimizes its role in America’s obesity epidemic, while targeting its food to children in happy meals. Also Technomic Inc., estimates that McDonald’s owns nearly 17 percent of the limited-service restaurant industry in the United States, which is the largest share, but also is nearly as much as the next four restaurants in that category combined.
I will be using this article in a lot of different sections in my report. The first will be how social media sites like twitter are affecting McDonalds positively and negatively, and how McDonalds plans on using social media to increase sales and customers recognition (B8). Then I will use this article in the SWOT analysis (B6.b) A 17 % market share in this industry in a definite strength for McDonalds, another strength for McDonalds was remodeling their franchises. Also even in an economic struggle McDonalds sales are increasing and last year McDonalds sales nearly doubled the industry’s projected growth rate by
