You have gum disease. Gum disease and Gingivitis can cause teeth sensitivity; mostly the gums will be receding exposing the dentin.
Use of whitening toothpaste and mouthwash. They contain chemicals that may be sensitive to your teeth.

Brush your teeth regularly and use toothpastes that are made for sensitive teeth. Always brush your teeth with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
