Meaning of Life and Danny
EULOGY: For Danny Archer by Solomon Vandy
A tribute to a friend

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It is not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything. Friendship is the golden thread that ties the heart of the world. Death is an inevitable part of life. I haven’t known him from a long time but today I can say that he was truly my friend. Danny was a true hero as he sacrificed himself for me and my family. I will never be able to pay him back for his greatness. I am thankful to Danny for everything he did for me. Danny, you are my true friend.

I met Danny a little while ago in Africa. At that time I thought of him as another white man. But I never realised the problems he faced in his life. Physically, he was very strong but emotionally, he was stronger. He suffered a lot in his life. He saw his parents get tortured and murdered in front of his own eyes when he was a child. He grew up without his family and lived alone throughout his life. Despite having a dark childhood, he never shared his sorrow and grief with anyone. He grew up to be a better man. He joined the army and served our country.

Danny was a passionate man with confident personality. He was a tough and unshakable. He fought many wars but he also fought with himself. He fought with all his bad memories. He fought with all the problems he faced in his life. Despite all the problems he faced, he never shared it with anyone. He was a strong hearted man. He was looking for a way to solve his own struggle and in this search he found a really big diamond which could have helped him have a better future. This diamond made him discover more about himself than he realised. He started this journey for himself, but instead he ended it through the ultimate sacrifice of giving his life to save mine. Danny was a true hero.

Danny will be sorely missed by Maddy and me. He not only helped me but also

What is the meaning of life? The answer to this question has sought over since mankind became capable of exercising their brain capacity past a level of primal instinct. In general life is rather meaningless, we all simply exist together on this planet. But before one dwells on the pointlessness of human existence, they should think about the purpose of each individual person in our society. We create goals for ourselves; we all have a role to play in our society. In a sense, we choose our future and in doing so, give ourselves a purpose to live. The purpose of human existence in general may be absent, but in our society and through our goals and achievements, I believe each individual creates their own purpose.…

Later, the echo somehow became stronger, it’s no longer an echo, it’s a loud calling from out of nowhere, as soon as I reached back just to say hi as a friend, we got closer and you know what, instead of choosing either be with him or learn from him, both are in the palm of my hands now, my echo, my light, you are in every chapter of my diary always. As I am writing this, I am…

The meaning of life is simple all you need to know that to get far in life you need to get good GCSE’s and A levels if you so choose so as well as getting lots of revision in on your week. A timetable may be wise to those who study. A taxi driver once had that Bertrand Russell in the back of his cab. Since Russell was the most famous philosopher of his day, the cabby asked him "What's it all about?" Russell, however, could not answer. No surprise there, you might think. For isn't the meaning of life the most profound and elusive mystery of them all, unknown to even the greatest minds? Surely anyone who tells you they have the answer is joking, mad or simply mistaken.…
