Introduction:
The mechanical assets of resources are of fundamental significance in engineering applications where there is a component of load posture. There are many such mechanical possessions that can be measured and many specialized parts of equipment designed to undertake such measurements, (e.g. stiffness, strength, ductility and hardness).
In this experiment performing a tensile testing that will implicates extending a material at a constant pace and measuring how the force differs with extension.
The force and extension results gained, can be converted to stress and strain values according to the following equations:
Tensile Stress: σ = F / A
Tensile Strain: ε = ΔL / L
Where these expressions stands for: σ: Stress (Pa)
F: Force (N)
A: Area (m2) ε: Strain
ΔL: Change in length (m)
L: Length (m)
Theory:
In this experiment, a test was carried out to investigate two materials, the GF
