First approval had to be given by the partners. Second, was to scan the market place for EHR vendors. Third, survey practices that have these EHR systems or read literature or feedback on what they think about the systems. Next, get an initial screening of the final eight systems. Finally, pick the best candidate and negotiate a price and which services are best for the practice.
