Medical Sonography Research Paper

I have grown up wanting a career in the medical field, but never quite knew specifically what I wanted to do in the field. After doing some research and job shadowing; this last year of high school I decided I wanted to be a sonographer. I find ultrasound very interesting and not baby ultrasounds, but other organs as well. I think that it is amazing that a piece of machine can measure and show organs in your body in a picture or video form. To do this I would go to Volunteer State Community College first to study radiology. After having that done I will go back and study sonography. There are many steps in the process to achieve this career. Once starting at Volunteer State Community College, I will finish my general education courses. In order to be accepted into the radiology program there are many requirements. I will need to have a 3.0 grade point average and have three reference forms. Also a big part of the process is having an interview before a committee and your score will determine if you’re accepted or not. If I get accepted I plan on going through the

You must have an A.A.S. degree in patient care before being accepted that is why I will doing radiology technician before. Also applicants need to have 16 hours of observation in a general ultra sound department with a registered sonographer. Another thing needed in the process of diagnostic medical sonography is two letters of recommendations and an interview before a selection committee.
