SUBJECT: Assignment
In response of your assignment due to childhood obesity, this is the information we found about the rising problem in society.
First, we looked at articles on childhood obesity and the negative effects of marketing of unhealthy food towards children. Here we found that marketers use more intense and pervasive methods as compared to before. It was later explained that young children are exposed to fast food advertisements before even recognizing what they mean. Lastly, the promotion of healthier food options and education can help children guide themselves to make better choices.
Then, we reviewed some basics about the rapid increase of child obesity and the changes of lifestyle. We read how within the past couple of years childhood obesity has been increasing and eating habits have become worse. It was read that the recent lifestyle of children has rapidly changed also. It was said that children are not as physically active before due to television, internet, and video games.
Finally, we all started working with our teams on our next project step, the outline. We started with the introduction which contained the background information as well as the thesis. Then we brainstormed the possible solutions to childhood obesity and fast food due to it being marketed. After we typed the solutions and how to achieve them the group established a conclusion.
Our team decided to meet tomorrow afternoon at 8:00 p.m. at the 2nd floor of the library to finish the project. You can email me if you have any other advice on improvement on our project at. Thank you for your help.
