SUBJECT: Chris Kyle Biography
1. This memorandum is a book reflection on the biography of Chris Kyle, a former US NAVY SEAL sniper. The life experiences and achievements of Chris have been summarized and reflected on from the book.
2. Chris Kyle, born on the 8th of April 1974 in Odessa Texas. Has the highest number of confirmed kills of 160 that is affirmed by The United States Pentagon.
3. Chris began his military career by joining the Navy and attending BUDS school (Basic Underwater Demolition SEALS) in 1999. Chris continued furthering his career in the U.S Navy SEALS, deploying numerous times to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other peace keeping missions.
4. Chris deployed with SEAL team 3 Sniper Element Charlie, within the Naval Special Warfare Command. As one would assume Chris did attend sniper school before his second tour to Iraq. In which Chris did encounter some struggles throughout the course but felt that his fellow classmates experienced greater trials in the training of “Stalking” which is the art of moving into a position without detection.
5. Chris was qualified on four weapon systems, the TAC 338, Mk 12, M4 Carbine, and the 300 Winchester Magnum platform. On all four platforms Chris was deadly accurate earning him the nickname “The Devil of Ramadi” in which was given to him by the Ramadi insurgents that had put a bounty on his head for $80,000. 6. One of Chris’ well known shots that brought him into the spotlight. Was a shot taking from a TAC-338 sniper rifle system from a distance of 2,100 yards.
