Mental Health is the state of our mind. The way we respond with changes in our everyday life shows our mental health. The first point of call should be to your local G.P, he can provide you with options of the available treatments which could be medication for a short time fix. There are also other support services that are coordinated by the Community Mental Health Team which are usually based in the Hospitals or in the local HSE office. They offer number of specialist services that provide various treatments, including counselling, alternative treatment and other talking treatments and programmes like different therapies behaviour therapy, mindfulness these help to manage and teach people how to live with anxiety, they also bring people that has had past experiences of anxiety.
