Mental illness is a disease of the mind, which refers to an individual who has emotional or behavioral issues that demands professional assistance. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a contagious disorder that affects the immune system and makes individuals more susceptible to infection but eventually leads to death. Various kin members suffer from poverty, which makes it difficult to afford health care, food, clothing, and other expenses. Homelessness is a growing problem, which affects families by not acquiring an adequate place of rest. Most people who suffer from homelessness sleep in shelters or on the street. When I first started my research my main focus was on mental illness and discovery includes anxiety disorder, mood disorder, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, impulsive control ,and addiction disorder, adjustment disorder, dissociative disorder, factitious disorder, sexual, and gender disorder, somatoform disorder, and Tic disorder. To assist the mental ill case managers need to be calm in situations, acquire education about available resources, possess the ability to help in all situations, and obtain patience while displaying hope that all situations have a solution. Limitations that I bring to this field include inexperience in several areas caused by non-employment in various facilities but knowledge, which is obtained from education, will assist me. Strengths, which are transported to this area of study, include compassion, dedication, education, and observation of life encounters that aid me in comprehending each individual’s situation. Assets that will be utilized in future occurrences will assist me in dealing with my limitations while obtaining the opportunity to gain insight into bettering my knowledge in current weaknesses. Diversity is a possibility that will present itself while working with the mental ill population because illness affects everyone. I will deal with multicultural issues by respecting the client’s beliefs while ensuring that situations are conducted by accommodating current
