Primary aspects of diversity are things that are not easily changed, whereas the secondary aspects are things that be easily changed. For example, a person’s age, gender or ethnicity is not easily changed. Even though some people will lie about their age in some situations, it cannot be changed. The date of birth listed on an individual’s birth certificate is what stands.
On the other hand, a secondary aspect of diversity can be changed easily. People move from one geographic location to another quite often. This is a secondary aspect of diversity it changes easily. Another example of a secondary aspect of diversity change is one’s educational status. In this class, we are all seeking to change our educational status by working towards our bachelor’s degree.
