Methods of Birth Assessment The number of babies born to women each year is overwhelming. Out of every 10 women who give births, 3 of them are by cesarean births. Although complications could arise from any birth style, some birthing procedures are offered to reduce some of the risk of other birthing procedures. In some cases, women may opt to having a c-section to avoid the labor pains that come with vaginal births. There are also some cases where women have not had the choice to have a vaginal birth because of life threatening situations that resulted in having to have a c-section. I feel that there are more cons than pros when it comes to having a cesarean. One
