Attributes like transformational leadership, empathy, with a combination of communication skill which allows inspiration to meet a common mission. Speaking within a charity organization everyone is a volunteer which means they have many choices to participate or not particiapate which does not lead to consequences of any kind. Most things are based on many different beliefs and situations people are in. The Women of Wisdom charity group exemplifies different leadership theories, the power of influence, the effectiveness of leadership, and how they support the vision and mission allow for many leadership challenges throughout this organization, and as for me there are a few changes I would make but, would they be for the better?…

Jack Welch, the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric once said, “We know where most of the creativity, the innovation, the stuff that drives productivity lies - in the minds of those closest to the work” (Welch, J., 2012). In every work environment there seems to always be some detractors from reaching the end result or end product. In a working world of a hundreds of millions of different personalities, different motivations, and different work environments, not one will ever be the same, with billions upon billions of variables to affect the environment. Work is what makes the world grow, and ultimately makes the world function. The dynamics that are presented in the work environment we come into, as well as the dynamics that we create and become a part of, set the stage for the workplace health and well-being both now and in the future. This assessment will look at the production work setting, and identify role conflicts within groups, communication problems among group members, lack of cohesiveness in groups with diverse members, and excessive intergroup conflict. This assessment will further evaluate how each problem could impact a group’s productivity, and will make recommendations to resolve each of the problems, and how it applies to the situation. The work environment is a complex environment to begin with especially in production. The dynamics between the individuals can further provide a challenge for the employees, managers, and leaders alike, but if that challenge is met head on and ascertained promptly, it can be a happy, healthy, productive workplace for many to enjoy. It takes a concerted effort to ensure sustained productivity in a production environment, and needs to occur at all levels in order to be successful.…

    Team Dynamics and Change

The purpose of this annotated bibliography is to demonstrate the effect of Team dynamics and change. In many terms, team dynamics is focused on mutual interaction among the team members, their actions, and responses. Therefore, the rapidly changing work environment and adaptation to the changes are the major facts leading to the switch of the comfort zones and fear of the possible changes within almost all the levels of the organization. The theories of Kurt Lewinee and Bruce Tuckman are reviewed by the modern authors and conclusions are made about the modern implications of these theories. The annotation in this bibliography consists of two quantitative research articles. One of the articles examines the aspects of social psychology and its effects on group dynamics. The author of the articles identifies Lewine’s change processes. Specifically, Cartwright identifies that change in the workplace could be identified as both positive and negative outcome; therefore, he provides eight principles that support Lewine’s theory. According to the author, the practical application of group dynamics consists of knowledge about what unites the group, what modifies them, and what consequences they have. The findings were not supported by the qualitative research. Bonebright (2010) analyses Tuckman’s team dynamics model (forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning) and its effect on groups in the workplace. The author agrees that Tuckman’s team dynamics model is easy to understand and flexible to apply in diverse settings. However, no theory developed from this theory was demonstrated. In overall, these two articles analyse the theories of team dynamics and change and focus on the application of these theories in the modern environment.…
