Executive Summary
This report concentrates heavily on the strategic human resource management adopted by the popular oil and natural gas company, Chevron. Senior HR employee at Chevron, Mr. Stawb Peter Halder was interviewed as he extended continuous support throughout the making of this report to illustrate Chevron’s Human Resource Structure and other necessary details.
This report reveals the linkage between the strategic human resource factors implemented by Chevron and the theories that have been taught in the course by our respected faculty. Based upon the interview we conducted, the report has focused on the training outline followed by needs assessment. The needs assessment had all the proposed instructors and the reason for using them. The training objectives of Chevron were also included on the report keeping in mind they are aligned with the theories. Moreover, the evaluation plan included training evaluation, training effectiveness with the mention of the four stages as well as explaining them. The report also provides a hypothetical analysis of the Kirk Patrick Model.
