India’s uniqueness is seen in every aspect be it technical, scientific, social or economical. Every Indian is worth of accomplishing every task that that can flourishes the economy of the nation. Even history has proved that Indians are worth gems for world in the form of Vivekananda, Gandhi, mother Teresa, Satyajit ray, Sam Pitroda, and many to specify. There are some who don’t even dare to think of Mc’donalds burger..instead he still begs for a

Feminism: a topic of discussion in many homes and classrooms, which asserts the utmost attention amongst its listeners. A crazy ideal that believes women hold fundamental rights among men, and deserve the same treatment, the same opportunities. Feminism has grown since its conception in the early 20th century, and has catapulted upward in a grand and illustrious fashion, clinging to the souls of women who will no longer be oppressed by an abusive patriarchy. However, in this decade, feminism has become the topic of crude humor, has been made the punchline of jokes directed toward women. Feminism has become merely a way to generalize women as “crazy, hormonal monsters” who should never have a say in democracy because their “time of…

If countries can be defined by their socio-cultural make-up alone it would be a difficult task to define India and its subsequent ‘Indianness’. Given its multi-cultural set-ups, where each culture and its sub-culture is a separate world of its own, it is not only presumptuous but narrow-minded to define national identity in such a manner. It cannot be based on class distinctions either. If on one hand we have the destitute scavenging for food in dust-bins, the…

The economy of India is based in part on planning through its five-year plans, which are developed, executed and monitored by the Planning Commission.
