Micro Injection Molding Machine Analysis
Contact lens is made up of plastic material and is directly placed on the anterior surface of eye to correct vision deficiences. Contact lens is used as substitution of spectacles. Currently, contact lens is more preferable as it comes in variety. One can change their eye color and appearance using colored pigment lens.
The present methods of manufacturing includes mainly – Spin casting and Mold casting. But this has disadvantage of generation of ripple marks on the posterior surface and also distorted final lens with variable density.
Use of micro-injection molding machine for lens manufacturing can possible reduce the error and also production will be cost effective.
In this report , we have included the plastic flow simulation results and the

It facilitates optimal automation solutions from granules right up to the finished and packaged molded part- to a shot volume of 8.0 cm3 . The Benefit of this machine is that it is a cost effective combined with a supreme level of precision.

2.4 MESHING[7]
To apply the partial differential equations that governs fluid flow and heat transfer for analyzing plastic flows, the flow domains are split into smaller elements, primarily made of triangles in case of 2D and Tetrahedral in case of 3D. The equations are then discretized and solved for each of these elements. The method of splitting the body into its elements id called meshing. Care must be taken to ensure proper continuity of flow across the common interfaces between two elements.

2.4.1 Meshing Classification

Meshing are classified as- mid-plane, surface and 3D meshing.
The first two are also called as 2D meshing. Common elements in 2D are rectangle and triangle. And in 3D it is tetrahedral and

Contact-lens magnates recognize a dual-segmented product space – private practice (i.e., doctor/ophthalmologist supply) versus retail (i.e., health + beauty, pharmacy). Lost/broken lens replacement (constituting ~30% of sales) and lens supply products (roughly $50 per wearer per year) comprise strong subsidiary markets. In stark contrast to larger players’ generalist/mass-market offerings, Sof-Optics strives to differentiate itself as a higher-quality (often custom-fabricated) product supplier. This approach has borne some fruit; Sof-Optics lenses are widely perceived as having quality and standards superior to their Bausch + Lomb counterparts, granting Sof-Optics preferential reception in the specialty (doctor/ophthalmologist) lens segment.…

Bergerac Systems should integrate the backwards into the manufacture of injection-molded parts for its cartridges. Clearly, the shift in market provided a lot of room for new opportunities to Bergerac Systems. In order to capture the new market and be responsive to the fluctuating demand it is imperative to make sure the supply of Cartridges are available. If the customer came to an opinion that Bergerac’s products cartridges are difficult to get hands on it will negatively impact the sales of its products. Further, Bergerac is not the industry leader in the market, it is in fourth place in terms of the revenue and it only sold 750 of analyzers in the first year. This makes it more difficult for Bergerac if it looses its customers. Also, the changing customer preferences provide a great opportunity to increase sales.…

The first difference between glasses and contacts is the way glasses alter a person’s appearances. Glasses can make a person look different in a good way and in some opinion can be a bad way. Depending on the type of frame used, glasses have a way to make a person look more sophisticated. Also, the size of the frame can have an effect on the way the face size will appear. Larger frames make the face seem smaller, where smaller frames make the face appear larger. On the other hand, wearing clear contact lenses has no effect at all on a person’s appearance. No one even knows that a person is wearing contacts unless they are told. Contacts…

First, I will be talking about the comfort between both glasses and contact lenses. When wearing glasses sometimes people get irritated when their glasses don’t fit right and slip. Whereas, when you wear contacts you don’t need to worry about this problem. On the other hand, contacts have disadvantages too. For example, when people use contacts they have to take good care of them For instance, you will need to clean your lenses everyday so that germs won’t stay on the contacts. If you do not clean your contacts or take good care of them there is a really high chance for you to get eye infection.…

Polygon Modeling method is the most common method of modeling used at present times in Films, Television and especially for Computer/Video games. This is because its convenient, efficient and easy to work with. There are points in 3D space, called vertices, are connected by line segments to form a 'polygonal mesh'. 3D Models in present moment are constructed as textured polygonal models, because they are flexible and therefore computers can render them quickly and efficiently. It has many efficient tools. Polygons are easy for a game engine to understand better comparing it with most models or geometry types because such engines merely require the x,y and z coordination of each vertex per triangle. It gives a helping hand for beginners and also for many experienced Animators as for their goal is to model quickly and efficiently with a clean, error free final result.…
