Yes, of course. Simply by wanting to find change for myself betters my community. Taking the time out to learn about leadership and myself is an action of leadership. I can bring back what I have learned to my community and start to make change. Growing as a leader I want to learn how to galvanize change. I know that this isn’t something a leader immediately learns but, hearing stories of college students making change happen on campus really inspires me to do the same. I want to also learn about how to make coalitions on campus and how to use technology to bring change to other campuses. Boycotting and buycotting are consumer activism techniques that I would like to learn how to implement not only on an individual scale but on a global scale. This matters to me because it is a way to bring wealth back to the communities back home. Speaking of back home, I would like to learn about ways to work with others to find a solution for a problem. For example, back in the Bronx kids in my high school struggled to get high SAT scores even with the SAT prep provided in schools and AP courses. I want to find a way to change that without imposing a solution of my own upon
