As middle schoolers, our newfound title as “teenagers” or "preteens" is something we don’t fully understand. We begin to realize that people are diverse in so many ways, but our lack of maturity makes us believe that being different is bad. We are told to get mature and quick in just a short span of time that we cannot even digest what mature means.
