Mill Ball Manufactures Analyze Two-level Gradation Way
Gradation of mill ball is a common problem a salesperson often encounters. And the scientific gradation of steel ball will greatly influence the work efficiency and the output of ball mill. As professional ball salesperson, he needs to make in-depth understanding and learning of grinding ball gradation so that in the future work, he can give reasonable and professional answers to customers. Here we mainly discuss about the two-level graduation way of grinding ball. We use two kinds of steel ball with different specifications and one is large in diameter and the other is small in diameter. Its theoretical basis is that the small balls fill in the gaps between big ones to fully improve the bulk density of the steel ball. On one hand, it can improve the impact force and times of the first chamber. On the other hand, high packing density can make materials to be grinded well. In two-level gradation, the big ball is mainly used to grind and impact materials. The small ones are used to fill gap between the bulk density, to improve the grinding body, to control the flow of materials, and to increase the grinding ability. Another function of small balls is the energy transmission function. They will pass the ball to the material impact energy. The third function is that it can crowd out coarse particles materials. Two-level gradation needs to refer the following parameters: (1) The big ball diameter. It depends on the size, ball mill grinding particle size and grind ability. General in multi gradation ball, the second ball diameter shall prevail. If a ball mill in multi gradation ball the largest ball diameter is 100mm, we should choose 90mm diameter steel ball. (2) The small ball diameter. It depends on the big ball gap size and big ball diameter. Typically, the small ball diameter accounts for 20%-30% of small ones. (3) The ratio of the ball. The small balls do not affect the filling rate of big ball. The small ball is 3%-5% of big ball. In the multi ball
