Minimum Wage: A Case Study
I live with my mother and grandmother. My grandmother works limited days a week and she is independent from us. We just live together for tradiction and the desire to be close to each other. My mom is the only member of my close family that supports me since my dad lives out of state and I barely see him.
My dad was unemployed for the majority of 2015. He began to work towards the end of the year and has been working throughout 2016. Just like my mom, his work pays minimum wage and since he lives far, I do not count with his immediate economical support when I need it.+
My mother covers my basic necessities but she earns minimum wage for her job and sometimes that is not enough. As result I fear that I may not be able to make my dream to attend
