Teenagers are probably the most misunderstood beings on Earth. We don't get treated like we should. We're treated like children, yet expected to act like adults. We cry and cry, and have no choice but to wait a few years when we are on the other side. Parents tell us off for doing things we love and you start to wonder what happened to being their little star and believing in our dreams. They judge our looks and actions as if it were a crime. Us teens have it rough. Aren't these supposed to be the good years? That's what you'd think. When we were born, our parents swore to protect us from harm. Well, that's one lie. Because all they ever did was make us cry. Their harsh words and criticisms being the crime. We act like everything's okay, when in truth we're a total mess. We're bullied and teased. And when we try to reach out for help, there's no one to reach out to. Parents think that they have it easy. But they don't realize our problems.pile up, leaving us lost and confused. And after a while, we just don't know what to do. But as the years pass by, we'll get so lost in the moment that we forget our fears. This is for all the teens who are misunderstood. This is from a teen who understands.
