Assignment 1: Part A: Marketing Plan

Your fresh beginning can be found in a glass of water but not just any water…. High quality Ionized Water!

I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
HRHJ Better Health Solution, Inc. is a direct sale company that will revolutionize your lifestyle with ionized alkaline water. This ionization or separation process enables the concentrated OH-ions in the alkaline water to help neutralize the acids and remove the harmful toxins from your blood stream. By buffering and removing these acids, you can help slow down your aging process because diseases thrive in acidic environments. Growing concerns about the quality of municipal water have caused many people to use bottled spring water for drinking and cooking. Municipal water in most areas of the country has been shown to contain trace elements of the harmful chemical, “chromium 6” from industrial or agricultural activities. This chemical over many years have seeped into the water table and caused major medical issues. Municipal water may also have bacteria, and the aging pipes in some cities can result in minerals getting into the water that affect the taste. Our company will offer educational and benefit training along with free bottles of alkaline water, ranging from 8.5, 9.0, and 9.5 ph levels in half to one-gallon volumes through our brand "HRHJ9907". HRHJ will carve out a focused niche within this industry, by providing scientific proof that you do not need expensive medicines with all the negative side effects to regain health. Alkaline water has profound long-term effects because it puts the body in an alkaline state and provides a power antioxidant. With the growing concerns in the bottle water billion-dollar industry, this trend will allow HRHJ as a small veteran owned ionized water company faced with strong competition the ability to generate sufficient business to reach and conquer profitability

To be able to understand how organic soluble compounds could be isolated from non-organic components, a chromatographic separation process was used. The objective of the analgesic drug identification is to isolate the organic compounds/ active ingredients in an unknown drug. The identity of the drug was determined through melting point, percent recover, and Rf values. The comparable data for acetaminophen from the manufacturer is 500mg of active ingredient. After conducting the experiment-extraction, distillation, and evaporation- 451mg of active ingredient. This relates to a 68.1% recovery. The melting point was between 158 and 165 degrees Celsius, which is almost ten degrees lower than the published melting point of acetaminophen. After conducting a TLC plate, the Rf value was calculated to be .4268, the same as the standard Rf.…

In the early 1990’s, when Manhattan was hit by water contamination, Bikoff set out to buy bottled water and found that except for the brand name, there was very little difference between the different brands of bottled water sold. Bikoff was looking for additional nutritional value rather than plain water. Finding none, he started conducting an in-depth study about different companies making bottled water. He found that he could use vapor distillation to create an alternative to bottled water. Bottled water was generally procured from springs and contained some dissolved minerals, which could be removed using vapor distillation.…

The bigger problem is that this issue will never be acknowledged, much less addressed, without influencing the existing distribution of power. With this in mind, immigrants, government leaders and activist groups can no longer distance themselves from the plight of the African Americans conditions. Imagine not being able to drink a single drop of purified water again. Due to the people of the United States drinking billions of gallons of water daily, the amount of purified water we drink is starting to run out which is causing a problem already. Psychological studies have shown humans still don't accept water being reused even after knowing the water is purified and perfectly clean. Advocates are still against ultraviolet machines being used to clean and purify water. While some people believe that drinking recycled water is both repulsive and distasteful, others believe that we have to think of future generations (our kids and grandchildren) who will mainly be affected by this issue. The use of water has grown drastically, and we will soon undertake the dangers of this…
