Johnston conducted a MMPI-2, (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory). The MMPI is the most used method of testing adults for their personality and psychopathology. The results for Rebecca show that she is in a great deal of turmoil as well as feelings of intense anxiety. In addition to her anxiety, Rebecca also displays symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, undifferentiated somatization disorder, Schizophrenia, Dependent Personality, GI distress, and familial, occupational with a high recommendation that she find a psychiatrist to work out the most appropriate psychotropic medications.
